Transportation
By Public Transit
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train system, also known as the ‘L,’ provides rapid transit service to downtown. The closest train stop to the conference is the Chicago Avenue Red Line station (Chicago Avenue and State Street). Refer to the CTA website for train maps, fare prices, and methods of payment.
From O’Hare International Airport:
There is a CTA ‘L’ stop located at the airport. Take the O’Hare Blue Line train to Chicago Avenue. Transfer to the #66 Chicago bus (to Navy Pier) and get off at Fairbanks. Also, airport shuttle options to downtown are available through Go Airport Express.
From Midway Airport:
There is a CTA ‘L’ stop located at the airport. Take the Midway Orange Line train to Roosevelt. Transfer to the Red Line train and travel northbound (towards Howard) to the Chicago Avenue station. Transfer to the #66 Chicago bus (to Navy Pier) and get off at Fairbanks. Also, airport shuttle options to downtown are available through Go Airport Express.
By Car
From 1-90/94 E / Kennedy Expressway:
- Take the East Ohio Street exit
- Turn left onto McClurg Court
- Turn left onto Ontario Street
- Parking entrance is on your right
From I-290 E / Eisenhower Expressway:
- 1-290 E becomes West Congress Parkway
- Turn right onto Illinois Street

Parking at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab:
The entrance to the garage is located off of Ontario Street, just west of McClurg Street. Parking validation is available in the sky lobby on the 10th floor.
